Janell Robinson:

Janell has dedicated her career to the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors as an executive, consultant, and active member of nonprofit boards and committees. She is currently the Executive Director of Hope’s Front Door (HFD), an organization serving over 7,000 adults and children facing financial or healthcare crises. Janell is quoted saying, "I am a strong believer in the power of community and in providing individuals and organizations with the tools to create positive change—whether through volunteering or offering vital resources and information." Her volunteer work includes serving with United Way and the Cub Scouts. She is also a member of the Downers Grove Library’s Equity Advisory Committee, a board member of Giving DuPage, and a member of Chamber630. Additionally, Janell has contributed to the Arkansas State Press newspaper, founded by civil rights pioneers L.C. Bates and Daisy Bates, who played pivotal roles in the integration of Little Rock Central High School by supporting the students famously known as the Little Rock Nine.

Jason Altenbern:

As Chief Development Officer, Jason is the senior fundraising executive for Little Friends, Inc., whose mission is to empower people of all ages experiencing autism, intellectual and emotional disabilities, and their families to live, learn, work, and thrive in their communities. Highlights of his current work include supervising a team of professionals that have raised more than $2MM each of the past three years. Jason is the primary architect behind the successful completion of a five-year, $10MM Building Futures campaign to positively impact programs, facilities, and strengthen the position of their endowment. He and his team achieved this success in four-and-a-half years, with two of those years during COVID. Jason's team has authored 220+ grant proposals, awarding the agency nearly $2MM over the past five years. Under Jason's direction, they launched a planned giving initiative and aggressively expanded the number of third-party fundraisers in FY24.
