Join DuPagePads at this thrilling fundraiser, hosted in partnership with Over The Edge, inviting 55 supporters to rappel 12 stories down from the roof of Hotel Arista, located in the heart of the CityGate Centre dining and entertainment campus in Naperville, Illinois. Charity Challenge: The Great Descent is a day-long event hosted on May 9th from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Hotel Arista. Family, friends, and spectators are invited to come watch and support participants while enjoying music, food, and fun from ground level. As one of only few available opportunities in Illinois to participate in 2026, this unique fundraiser is going to be something to remember for DuPage Pads supporters and will demonstrate what is possible when we strive for new heights together! We hope you will join us as one of the 55 brave neighbors stepping off the roof of Hotel Arista and helping to end homelessness here at home!

The Westmont Park District has partnered with the local nonprofit People’s Resource Center (PRC) so that proceeds from the race can benefit neighbors in need, right here in our community. As a partner in the community, PRC helps to meet neighbors’ basic needs such as food, shelter, and clothing assistance services. In addition, PRC provides job, computer, and literacy training programs and art empowerment classes to help neighbors in need here in DuPage County.
