Join us for an engaging panel of area experts facilitated by Greg Bedalov, President of the Downers Grove Economic Development Corporation discussing transportation in Downers Grove, DuPage County, and beyond on Wednesday, November 12 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at the DoubleTree Guest Suites & Conference Center in Downers Grove.

Panelists will include Kristi DeLaurentiis of the Metropolitan Planning Council, Bola Delano of the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP), Chuck Tokarski, DuPage County Engineer, and Dave Fieldman, Village Manager of Downers Grove. Ms. DeLaurentiis is the manager of local government and community relations for the Metropolitan Planning Council. She works to strengthen partnerships with stakeholders throughout Chicago's suburbs and collar counties, collaborating with community, business, and government leaders to address the region's challenges. Ms. Delano is deputy executive director for the community and technical assistance division of CMAP. She has the responsibility of the design and delivery of technical assistance programs particularly in the area of strategic economic and community development planning, business and industry retention and private sector involvement. Mr. Tokarski has been the County Engineer for DuPage County since 1995 and is responsible for design, land acquisition, construction and maintenance activities for the County Highways and recreational trails under the jurisdiction of the DuPage County Division of Transportation. Mr. Fieldman is the Village Manager of Downers Grove.  He has played key roles in many Village projects including the Belmont Underpass, the Watershed Infrastructure Improvement Plan, and the new Fire Station 2.
