Hospice Volunteer Training - Informational Session
Giving back to our community…
Making a difference in people’s lives…
Putting meaning into our life…
These are just a few of the reasons why people volunteer. Hospice volunteers help support terminally ill patients and their families by offering a compassionate non-judgmental presence, companionship, and respite for caregivers, emotional and bereavement support. They might also run errands, read to patients, bring meals or offer a listening ear.
Learn more about end of life care and our volunteer training workshop at this informational session on December 1, 2004,
7:00 - 9:00 pm at Good Samaritan Wellness Center, 3815 Highland Avenue in Downers Grove, IL.
