This third annual fundraising event, “A Taste of Hope: Chefs Uniting to End Homelessness,” will be held on Thursday, March 5th, 2009, from 5:30- 9:30 PM at Abbington Banquets, Glen Ellyn. Tickets are still available and the cost per person is $80. Proceeds from the event will benefit the programs and services of DuPage PADS “This event gives participants the opportunity to sample cuisine from restaurants they know and those they would like to explore,” said Carol Simler, Executive Director. “We had great restaurants the past two years and look forward to both returning restaurants as well as those joining us for the first time. This casual, entertaining evening offers a place where people from throughout the county can learn about DuPage PADS while sampling from leading area restaurants.” Each restaurant will provide sample-sized servings of signature dishes.
