We look forward to your continued cooperation. * * * * * ¬ The Northern Illinois Area of Alcoholics Anonymous plans its 36th Annual Spring Conference “We will be Amazed Before We Are Halfway Through” at the Westin Yorktown Lombard Hotel, Lombard, Illinois March 6 through March 8th, 2009. This annual service-related conference includes nationally known and local area AA and Al-Anon speakers, service workshops, seminars, AA Conference approved literature sales, AAWC movies, AA history & Archives, Alcathon (round-the-clock AA meetings), banquet and dance and other events. Entertainment acts including: comedy, DJ, live musicians, singers and thespians will be provided by professional and aspiring entertainers. The conference is open to the public. Basic conference registration is required to attend any event. Conference registration is $20.00, and the banquet is $30.00. The conference with the banquet is $50.00 per person. AA Preamble: Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is the desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership; AA is self-supporting through its members own contributions.
