Date: 5/16/2009 Time: 9:00 AM TO 1:00 PM 1436 Norfolk Downers Grove, IL 60516 Phone: 630-795-8807 Event Description: The Go Green Initiative Club is partnering up with EScrap Technology from Bolingbrook to sponsor a “Scrap Drive” on May 16, 2009. We are looking for any of your unused technology “if you can plug it in, we’ll take it!” There are a few items that are not acceptable: TVS, FURNITURE, AIR CONDITIONERS, FOOD PROCESSING EQUIPMENT (MICROWAVES, REFRIDGERATORS, FREEZERS) There is a $5 charge for computer monitors. The drive will take place on Saturday from 9-1 outside in the parking lot of South High School. Students, staff, and community members are encouraged to bring and drop off their unused and old “scraps”. When recycling old possessions we will gratefully accept any donation to our recycling efforts at DGS that you offer. “All schools prepare our children for the future, but Go Green schools prepare the future for our children.” Directions: Downers Grove South High School parking lot.
