Event Description: R.J. Lindsey portrays New York Times Managing Editor Carr Van Anda in this compelling presentation, Stories Aboard the Titanic, part of the History Speaks Lecture Series to be held from 4 to 5 p.m. Sunday, April 11, at Naper Settlement’s Century Memorial Chapel. Hear the story of the H.M.S Titanic, from its construction to its final hours and the newspaper's response to the S.O.S. message it received from the sinking ship on April 14, 1912. For all ages, advance tickets are $6/person, $5/student and NHSS member. At the door, tickets are $7/person, $6/student. Call (630) 420-6010 for advance tickets.
