Event Description: The next monthly meeting of the DuPage Woodworkers, our ANNUAL AUCTION, will take place on SATURDAY JULY 31ST beginning at 8-9AM at St. James the Apostle Church, 480 S. Park Blvd., Glen Ellyn, IL. (Park Blvd. and Fawell Blvd. (22nd street)). The entrance is off the parking lot on the North side of the Church. Regular monthly meetings are held the fourth Wednesday of each month. The DuPage Woodworkers will hold its ANNUAL AUCTION on SATURDAY JULY 31ST. PLASE NOTE – THIS IS NOT OUR REGULAR MEETING NIGHT – OUR AUCTION IS A SPECIAL EVENT. Registration for buyers and sellers begins at 8 AM and selling begins at 9 AM. Rules for the auction can be viewed on our web site - www.dupagewoodworkers.org - on the meetings tab. The auction is open to all members and invited guests and generally lasts 3 to 4 hours. Many different tools from all areas of woodworking are typically represented, most in reasonable condition, some “as is”; welcomed items include tools, wood and wood related products. Speaking from past experience, this event typically sends home a wealth of new items for each of our workshops, most of which were only recently unwanted in someone else's workshop. At regular monthly meetings all skill levels from novice to advanced, in all areas of woodworking are represented in the club. Our club motto is "learning by sharing”.
