Park Blvd Glen Ellyn, IL 60137 Phone: 630-858-4727 Event Description: The next monthly meeting of the DuPage Woodworkers will take place on Wednesday, August 25th at 7PM at St. James the Apostle Church, 480 S. Park Blvd., Glen Ellyn, IL. (Park Blvd. and Fawell Blvd. (22nd street)). The entrance is off the parking lot on the North side of the Church. Regular monthly meetings are held the fourth Wednesday of each month. This month’s meeting will highlight the creative and ingenious shop jigs some of our club members devise and use in their workshops. A number of our accomplices have volunteered to bring, explain and demonstrate (if possible) their ingenuity. They'll tell us their secrets about how they came upon the jig; something they thought of themselves, something they saw in a woodworking publication, a fruitful search on that www. thing, or a combination of them all. I'm quite sure most woodworkers recognize the benefits of a jig to accomplish a given task cleanly and accurately, especially if multiples are involved. I'll bet all our members from the most experienced to the novice will come away from this program with useful information. All skill levels from novice to advanced, in all areas of woodworking are represented in the club. Our club motto is "learning by sharing”.
