Downers Grove Chamber of Commerce’s fifth annual Student
Career Exploration and Leadership Academy will complete its series of seven
sessions at 12:00 pm (registration at 11:30 am) on Thursday, May 19.
The Academy provides District 99 high school seniors and juniors an opportunity
to learn business skills and to explore career options through interaction with
local business and community leaders.
This final session will feature a graduation celebration and
luncheon with Academy parents, mentors, volunteers, host organization
representatives, and Chamber members invited to attend. Academy completion
certificates as well as college scholarships will be awarded at the ceremony.
