Community High School District 99 wants your input at an Open Community Focus Group, 7-9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28. It is part of the District’s listening phase of its Strategic Planning process. The Open Focus Group will be held at North High’s Johnson Auditorium and all community members are invited to participate.
The District is conducting a Strategic Plan in order to establish a future direction and priorities for the District. “We wanted to plan where we are going over the next few years, how we’re going to get there and how we’ll know if we got there or not,” said Superintendent Mark McDonald. Dr. Greg Kuhn, assistant director of the Northern Illinois University Center for Government Studies is facilitating the process.
The Open Focus Group is the last in a series of focus groups this fall in which the District has received input from smaller groups of parents, students, staff, business representatives, civic organizations and others.
