ARTHRITIS WALK 2011 to be held at MIDWESTERN UNIVERSITY!!
For the first time ever, Midwestern University is going to host the Arthritis Foundation’s Arthritis Walk on its Downers Grove campus in helping to raise money for arthritis research, education, and services for people with arthritis. We are hoping to have numerous Downers Grove organizations sign up for this 5K (3.1 mile) walk. In addition to joining us for a great cause and some morning entertainment, you can also bring your dog for the walk, because dog’s get arthritis too.
The Arthritis Walk at Midwestern University details include:
Date: Saturday, September 24th, 2011
Registration: 9:00 am
Walk Start Time: 10:00 am
Place: Start and Finish on Midwestern’s campus near the Wellness Center (The walk will go through the beautiful surrounding neighborhoods of Midwestern) This is either a 5k walk (3.1 miles), or an optional 1 mile walk

Balloon Twister: 10:30 am – Noon
Tommy Hawk (Chicago Blackhawks Mascot): 11:00 am - Noon
