Join us for a multi-chamber luncheon with the Bolingbrook Area Chamber of Commerce and Lisle Area Chamber of Commerce as we welcome Kristi Lafleur, Executive Director of the Illinois Tollway.  The Illinois Tollway Board approved the $12 billion capital plan, Move Illinois: The Illinois Tollway Driving the Future, establishing a guide for infrastructure investments for 2012-2026. 

Kristi Lafleur was selected as Executive Director by the Illinois Tollway Board of Directors in April 2010. She is the first female Executive Director in the Tollway’s history. Lafleur is responsible for day-to-day management of the agency, oversight of its $680 million annual budget and leading the nearly 1,600 employees in providing a safe, effective and efficient toll highway system and ensuring the highest possible level of customer service for the Tollway’s 1.4 million daily drivers.

Prior to joining the Tollway, Lafleur served as Deputy Chief of Staff for economic development and recovery for Governor Pat Quinn and Chair of the Midwest High Speed Rail Steering Committee. In October 2010, Lafleur was named by Governor Quinn to Co-Chair the Elgin-O’Hare West Bypass Advisory Council, which was created to assist in the planning and building of this important project. Lafleur also was named to Crain’s Chicago Business “40 under 40” list in November 2010 and to Crain’s list of “Women to Watch 2011.”
