The performance is slated for Friday, May 18, 2012, at 8:30 PM, with doors opening at 6:30pm. The Freddy Jones Band is compared to the likes of The Eagles, The Band, and The Allman Brothers. The band started out as a “jam band,” according to singer-guitarist Wayne Healy, and then began concentrating on its own material. The group consists of Marty Lloyd (vocals and acoustic guitar), Jim Bonaccorsi (bass), Rob Bonaccorsi (guitar and vocals), Simon Horrocks (drums), and Wayne Healy (vocals and guitar). Capricorn Records signed the group after its self-titled and self-released 1992 debut album sold more than 10,000 copies. Throughout the ‘90s, The Freddy Jones Band was in full swing with hits “Waiting for the Night” and “North Ave. Wake-Up Call.” The Rolling Stones praised the Freddy Jones Band when they said that the band was a “fine line between schizophrenic jam band and sensibly-minded pop-rock.” General admission tickets are $39, VIP seating for the first 5 rows are $100, and a very limited number of VVIP tickets are $150, which include food and drinks with the band, an autographed poster, and front-row seating.
