You can support Holiday Shoppe as a donor or a volunteer. Drop-off days for new, unwrapped gifts are Wednesday, December 5 from 4 - 8 p.m.; Thursday, December 6, from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., and Friday, December 7, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Client shopping days are Monday, December 10, and Tuesday, December 11. Gift cards are also greatly appreciated since they enable women and children to purchase the items they need throughout the year as they begin their journey to independence. Directions: Family Shelter Downers Grove Community Counseling Center and Shelter Directions: I-355 to 75th St. exit. Go east on 75th St. to Lemont Rd. (stoplight). Go north (left) several blocks on Lemont Rd. to a u-shaped turnoff to the right back towards 75th.
