Event Description: Cancer within a family is a life altering experience and hereditary cancer can be of concern to family members. Dr. Yvonne Collins, gynecologic oncologist, with Advocate Medical Group will discuss the genetic risks with breast and ovarian cancers and explain the strategies to decrease the risk of both. Preventative care and screening methods for both breast and ovarian cancers will also be discussed. Please join us for this event on Thursday, September 26, 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM. This is one of several year-round informative lectures that Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital sponsors to keep the community informed.


Directions:
The lecture is at the Advocate Good Samaritan Health and Wellness Center, 3551 Highland Avenue, Downers Grove, Rooms A & B (2nd Level). The building is located in a separate complex north of the hospital. Please enter from the entrance on 39th street and proceed until the end of the lane.
