Event Description: The warning signs of Alzheimer’s disease are often dismissed as side effects of normal aging. If you or someone you know is experiencing memory loss or behavioral changes, it’s time to learn the facts. Early detection gives you a chance to begin drug therapy, enroll in clinical studies and plan for the future. Attend this training to learn the 10 warning signs of Alzheimer’s disease. We’ll separate myth from reality and address commonly-held fears about Alzheimer’s in America. Hear from people who have the disease and find out how to recognize the signs in yourself and others. Presented in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association. Please join us for this event on Friday, October 11, 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM. The lecture is at the Advocate Good Samaritan Health and Wellness Center, 3551 Highland Avenue, Downers Grove, Rooms A & B (2nd Level). The building is located in a separate complex north of the hospital. Please enter from the entrance on 39th street and proceed until the end of the lane. Once you are there, use the Wellness Center entry and ask for directions to the rooms at the reception.
