Event Description: Downers Grove, IL – Classic Cinemas and Sony Pictures will host a guest appearance of “Drac” at various Classic Cinemas locations to promote the September 25 release of “Hotel Transylvania 2” during the week of August 10, 2015. All appearances will held from 12 PM to 6 PM. Patrons are encouraged to bring their camera and capture a memory of this legendary character. The appearance schedule for “Drac: is: Monday, August 10 North Riverside Luxury 6, North Riverside Mall Tuesday, August 11 Lake Theatre, downtown Oak Park Wednesday, August 12 York Theatre, downtown Elmhurst Thursday, August 13 Elk Grove Theatre, Elk Grove Village Friday, August 14 Cinema 12, Carpentersville Saturday, August 15 Charlestowne 18, St. Charles Sunday, August 16 Tivoli Theatre, downtown Downers Grove The film “Hotel Transylvania 2” begins with “Drac” [Adam Sandler] having opened the Hotel Transylvania to humans, and believes that things are changing for the better. However, he is concerned his half-human grandson “Dennis” isn’t showing his vampire side. So “Drac” enlists friends to help him put the boy through a “monster-in-training” boot camp, until sparks fly when his cantankerous old-school dad, played by Mel Brooks, pays an unexpected visit.
