Downers Grove). Plan on an evening of networking, appetizers, beverages, and
fun, as you connect with your fellow Chamber members.
Midwestern University is proud to be
an active member of the Downers Grove community. Founded in 1900, the University
is the academic home of more than 1,800 graduate and professional students who
are pursuing careers in health care and the health sciences. The beautiful
105-acre campus located on 31st Street houses the Chicago College of
Osteopathic Medicine, the Chicago College of Pharmacy, and the College of Health
Sciences.
Midwestern University has developed
academic programs that meet society’s needs for primary health care providers.
In addition to training physicians and pharmacists, the university also has
programs in physician assistant studies, physical therapy, occupational therapy,
clinical psychology, and biomedical sciences. The students are involved in many
community service programs throughout DuPage County, from volunteering at free
clinics to raising funds for the homeless to hosting special children’s events
on our campus. “We’re tomorrow’s health care team…learning together today.”
