Date: 4/18/2007 Time: 6:00 PM TO 9:00 PM Downtown Hinsdale Hinsdale, IL 60521 Phone: 630-323-5630 Event Description: The Hinsdale Humane Society (HHS) will be holding "It’s in the Bag" Ladies Night Out Shopping Extravaganza in downtown Hinsdale on Wednesday, April 18, from 6 to 9 p.m. to benefit homeless animals. This shopper’s delight will highlight Hinsdale’s finest retailers and businesses and when participating merchants open their establishments for after hours sales, everything from fine wines to designer shoes will be available for purchase (all retailers will be donating a portion of their sales that evening to HHS). During the event, shoppers will be able to sample complimentary treats at select locations throughout the downtown area, all of which will be prepared by local restaurants, and music will be provided during the evening as well. Tickets for the fun-filled fundraiser are $25 (with all proceeds benefiting HHS). Tickets will provide shoppers with entry to the participating village establishments as well as access to the special sales and drawings that merchants will be offering the night of the event. At the close of the evening, ticket holders will be eligible for raffle prizes. Tickets may be purchased at the shelter, 22 N. Elm Street in Hinsdale, during regular business hours: 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday; noon to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Friday; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Closed Monday. Tickets may also be purchased over the phone by calling the shelter at (630) 323-5630.
